Who is Hiring?

I recently and across an article that said that Dr Doom and Gitmo were hiring. I never quite got the Dr Doom reference but apparently the Guantanamo Bay reference was the the McDonald's not far from Cuba that need some some to sling fries. That is a long way to go for minimum wage. If you are going to say "May I have your order please" it might as well be no more than a bus ride from your current address.

The main employer who is still hiring these days is the only one who can simultaneously tax us, print money and borrow form China.  The United States government.  The best way to get a government job would probably be to move to Maryland or Virgina.  Why?  These two states border Washington DC and congress has handed them sacks of cash in the form of stimulus government jobs.

Believe it are not, there are still jobs out there going begining. Generally speaking, they are jobs in fields that require training and/or technical skills. Jobs like nursing. Nursing has been a hot job for some time. We have been in such need of nurses that we even imported some from foreign countries. If you like to help people and if you don't faint at the sight of blood, consider being a nurse.

Would you believe there is a $250K job that no one will take?

Apparently foot doctors make good money but no one wants to be one. You went to medical school for what?

Accountants and health care workers are supposedly in short supply so you might want to look into those fields as well.

Now that President Obama  and the congress have unleashed something like one trillion printed and borrows dollars on the economy, if your are still unemployed you may wonder where your bailout bonus is.  The short answer is:  What until next year.  Most of the stimulus money has not been spent yet.  When will it be spent?  Why right before the election.  Am I saying that they are going to use your tax money to buy your vote?  Yes.  Yes  I am.  Be sure to reward them at the polls for keeping you out of work for a year!!!
